Here is some of my Spring 2010 work

This is my work from second semester so far, these are pretty much "finished." I'm working on two others at the moment, I may make one more, depends on if I find time. I will post them soon. As you can see I'm doing a lot of self portraits mostly because it is easier to set up what I want and to direct myself and like they say, if you want something done right, you got to do it yourself. However, once I have more time, I would love to create portraits of friends, family, and even strangers! I think making these self portraits has also been a psychological and therapeutic process for me. It has really forced me to think about what I've been through these past few years.

First Semester of my Senior year (Fall 2009)

The above painting I have worked on in my second semester too but I started it in my first so I'm just putting it in with my first but it could be considered second too since it changed a lot and I am pleased with it...

Here I was experimenting with dividing the background to give it variation and interest...

The above painting is what the painting above this one looked like in the beginning stages... I kinda miss this actually but I do like both...

This painting is actually very small 3 inches by 2 inches.

Painting workshop work

Here are three self portraits I made in my Painting Workshop class. I think I'll keep working on all of them until I'm satisfied. I really like the way I came out in the third one down but it needs some work still. I definitely want to change the background...
